Mens Fall Fashion Trends 2011

The basic men's wardrobe for Fall 2011 has trends that highlight comfort and the cord is one basic that every man need to own. They can take the place of blue jean in a lot of instances. For a little dressier look the pinwale is good and the wider wale for more casual. They really are more versatile than a pair of blue jeans since they come in such a wide variety of colors. Camel, gray and basic black are always in style but to replace your jeans go blue or brown and have a ball paying with color. You can find them in a five pocket style or in a trouser style and in prices starting at $50 and going much higher.

Sweat shirts with a crew neck are very in style for casual wear for Fall 2011.This is not a bulky sweatshirt with a hood and your favorite college team. This is a close fitting stylish sweatshirt that will be used in place of a favorite cashmere pullover sweater. J. Crew has a very nice vintage design that can be worn by men of any age for that casual weekend look.

If you are more of a sport jacket kind of guy over a full suit, you will be happy to hear that for Fall 2010, the tweed sports jacket is a hot trend. It can be wool or cashmere and it you prefer a herringbone to a tweed, this is also very au current. Elbow patches are showing up from some designers but are not a necessity. Gray and browns predominate for colors.

With the trend toward the military look that has been prevalent for the last few seasons it is not surprising that the field jacket has come out as a top contender in this falls fashion stakes. They are being offered in a variety of materials and colors but what they all have in common is lots of pockets and a good fit, no excessive bulk.

Boots for men are a fashion statement for Fall 2011 mink pink clothing. They are coming with thicker soles in a lug pattern and it isn't just hiking boot, it is casual dress boots. These can be high or low, leather or suede and laced or slip-on, it is the sole that is the defining fashion statement.

Velvet has made its way back onto the runway but not every man feels comfortable going with a velvet suit. If you want to stay fashion forward without jumping to deeply into the trends, consider getting a blazer or suit jacket with a velvet lapel or add a velvet trouser to your tweed blazer.

When it comes to dress outerwear, the cashmere coat is still very much the way to go. In a neutral color it is a wardrobe staple. If you prefer a shorter length the woolen pea coat can still take you from the office to an evening out.

The Fall fashion trends for men are quite casual for Fall 2011. You should be able to add a few new items to the clothes you already have and still be considered quite stylish.
